Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order through the Singapore Cricket Club Online Store ordering system, or any associated ordering platform, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

Acceptance of these terms constitutes a legally binding agreement between the customer and the Singapore Cricket Club, also known as “SCC”.

2. Liability Disclaimer

All products are purchased and used at the customer’s own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Singapore Cricket Club (SCC)
  • SCC Cricket Section
  • SCC Cricket Academy
  • Any staff, volunteers, coaches, contractors, partners, suppliers, or individuals involved in the ordering, logistics, storage, or delivery process

shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, claim, delay, or expense arising from:

  • The purchase or use of any item
  • Product defects
  • Incorrect sizing or selection
  • Delivery delays
  • Lost or damaged items
  • Incorrect personalisation details provided by the customer
  • Manufacturing variations
  • Supplier or third-party logistics issues

The customer assumes full responsibility for the use, suitability, and safety of any purchased product.

3. Order Acceptance & Cancellation Rights

SCC reserves the absolute right to accept, reject, modify, delay, or cancel any order at its sole discretion.

This includes but is not limited to cases involving:

  • Stock availability issues
  • Pricing errors
  • Product discontinuation
  • Operational constraints
  • Suspected misuse of the ordering system
  • Incorrect order information
  • Non-payment of invoices

SCC may cancel an order without providing a reason.

If payment has already been made for a cancelled order, SCC may issue a refund at its discretion.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Certain items may be:

  • Made to order
  • Produced in batches
  • Supplied through third-party manufacturers
  • Stored off-site

Stock levels displayed may not always reflect real-time availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, SCC reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the order
  • Substitute with a similar item
  • Delay fulfilment

5. Sizing Responsibility

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size.

Sizing charts are provided for reference only and may vary due to manufacturing tolerances. Measurements are indicative only and do not guarantee fit.

SCC accepts no responsibility for incorrect sizing chosen by the customer, including situations where sizing guides were available.

Sizing measurements provided are intended as guidance and may vary slightly between production batches.

6. Pricing

All prices:

  • Are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated
  • May change without notice
  • May differ for SCC members vs non-members

SCC reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time.

If an incorrect price was displayed, SCC may cancel or adjust the order.

7. Payment Terms

Orders are considered confirmed only once:

  • Payment has been received, or
  • An official invoice has been issued and settled

Failure to complete payment within the stated timeframe may result in the order being cancelled.

Reserved items may be returned to general stock if invoices remain unpaid.

8. Delivery & Collection

Items may be delivered through one of the following methods:

  • Collection from the SCC Front Desk
  • Third-party delivery services
  • International shipping (if arranged)

SCC is not responsible for:

  • Delivery delays
  • Courier issues
  • Lost shipments
  • Customs delays
  • Incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer

Once an item has been delivered to the designated collection point or courier, the risk transfers fully to the customer.

9. Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

Refunds, returns, and exchanges may be considered subject to SCC Returns & Refunds policy.

Refund requests may incur administrative fees and processing deductions.

Returns will only be accepted if:

  • The item is unused
  • Original packaging is intact
  • Tags and labels remain attached

Items that cannot be returned include:

  • Personalised items
  • Custom orders
  • Clearance items
  • Used items

SCC reserves the right to determine whether a returned item meets the return criteria.

10. Third-Party Products

Some products sold through the SCC Online Store may be manufactured or supplied by third-party brands.

SCC accepts no liability for manufacturing defects, product durability, or performance claims made by external suppliers.

Any product warranty remains solely the responsibility of the manufacturer.

11. Force Majeure

SCC shall not be liable for delays or failure to fulfil orders due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:

  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Manufacturing delays
  • Shipping interruptions
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemic-related disruptions

12. Modification of Terms

SCC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The most current version will always apply to all transactions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

Any disputes arising from the use of the SCC Online Store shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

15. Agreement

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they:

  • Have read these Terms and Conditions
  • Understand them
  • Agree to be legally bound by them.
